MEET THE CREW
Inspired by her first rescue dog, Stoli, and her overall love of Pit Bulls, Page founded Virginia Paws for Pits in March 2012. Since then, she has led VPFP in saving over 450 dogs from certain death in animal shelters across the state. Page has also created programs within our community to assist with low cost spay&neutering to help decrease the number of dogs ending up in shelters. In addition to overseeing VPFP, Page is the proud mother to a human son and 5 rescue dogs of her own. Page is a fearless crusader for these misunderstood dogs no matter what, or who, may stand in the way.
Kristen joined the VPFP family in 2013 after adopting VPFP Alumni, Eros. She is a certified dog trainer, which has helped several dogs find and keep forever homes. Kristen is extremely dedicated to our organization and animals in general. She has been involved in various types of rescue work for over 10 years. Her positive attitude, loyalty, patience, and creativity have been invaluable to us. Kristen is the mama to 6 rescue Pitties of her own as well as cats and farm animals. She is always up for a challenge and is quick to raise her hackles towards anyone who messes with her loved ones or animals.
